Supports field research for current Columbia undergraduates studying sustainable development

Sponsored by Columbia University’s Earth Institute, the Global Fellows in Sustainable Development Program supports field research for current Columbia undergraduates studying sustainable development, either as a major or as a special concentration. This experiential learning may take the form of actual fieldwork, research assistantships, internships, or study abroad opportunities.

Awards will vary in amount according to individual project needs. Funding will only be awarded for fieldwork explicitly related a recipient’s degree requirements or that furthers his or her studies in the Program in Sustainable Development.

Current full-time Columbia undergraduates in the Program in Sustainable Development are eligible, provided they are in good academic standing.
