The IFSA Butler Program at the University of Melbourne is a supported university enrollment program offered during the fall, spring, and academic year. Students take all their courses side-by-side with local students in the University.

Established in 1853, the University of Melbourne is the second oldest university in Australia and a world-class institution with an international reputation for excellence. With approximately 34,000 students, the 50-acre campus is located in Parkville, a student-friendly neighborhood in West Melbourne. With strengths in both teaching and research, Melbourne offers a wide array of courses across the curriculum. Of particular interest for student interested in:
- Music, Film and the Arts (including Victoria College of the Arts)
- Australian Studies
The capital of the state of Victoria, Melbourne is Australia's second largest city and is a vibrant, multicultural city known for its trams, cafés, restaurants and cultural events. The city center is built along the Yarra River and offers elegant tree-lined boulevards surrounded by a mix of 19th century buildings and modern architecture.
Students live in a university apartment complex with other program students. There is some availability to live in one of the Residential Colleges of the University.
