During each semester of the academic year, which begins in October and extends through June, Columbia students enroll two regular University of Bologna courses with Italian students each semester. Students may also take special courses in Italian literature, language, art history, film studies, civilization, and contemporary politics that are arranged by the BCSP for program students as well.
