Applications are not considered complete until all components have been received.

Please note that the program is competitive and priority is given to students applying for the full academic year.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PASSPORTS: If you do not have a passport, or your passport will expire within the next year, please apply for one now. Currently it is taking up to four months to get a new or renewed passport. Even if you request that the passport be expedited, it can take several weeks.

University of Chicago students normally participate in this program for the full year only. They should take their questions about the program and the possibility of their participating in it to one of the individuals named below.

To begin the application process Chicago students should visit the University's study abroad home page and click on "Application." They are expected to complete both the Chicago and the KCJS forms, submitting all forms to the Chicago study abroad office. Students should not send any of these forms to the KCJS office at Columbia University.
