Congratulations on your decision to apply to Paris! Please select your school above to begin the application process. If you are not a student at Columbia, Barnard or University of Pennsylvania, please select Visiting Students.
Applications are not considered complete until all components have been received.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PASSPORTS: If you do not have a passport, or your passport will expire within the next year, please apply for one now. You will need a current passport in order to begin your visa process, which entails severals steps.

How to Apply
All required application materials may be submitted as part of the online application, except official transcripts. Complete applications are due by the deadline. A complete application consists of the following:
- Completed online application form.
- Statement of purpose (500 word statement about personal and academic goals and how you intend to achieve them). This may be uploaded into the online application.
- Completed online study abroad approval form:
- Barnard students: Dean should complete this form for you.
- Columbia College students: Do not complete this form. Please see Dean to be cleared for study abroad.
- General Studies students: Do not complete this form. Please see Dean to be cleared for study abroad.
- Completed online faculty recommendation form.
- Completed online language recommendation form.
- Transcript. To expedite the admissions process, you will be asked to upload a scanned copy of your transcript into the online application. However to complete the application, you must submit an official transcript directly to the Office of Global Programs.
