Overview

Study in Madrid through Boston University's Summer Spanish Studies Program for six weeks during the summer. Homestays are available throughout the duration of the experience.

Academics

You take two courses at the Instituto Internacional en EspaƱa, which is located in the heart of Madrid. You need to have completed at least two semesters of Spanish prior to the start of the program. You enroll in two courses for the summer that focus on intensive Spanish language as well as one other topic such as contemporary Spanish culture, the history of Spanish painting, or twentieth-century Spanish writers.

You live in a homestay throughout the summer to be able to connect with locals in the area.
