The IFSA Butler Program at Victoria University of Wellington is a supported university enrollment program offered during the fall, spring, and academic year. Students take all their courses side-by-side with local students in the University.

Academic Program

Victoria is located in New Zealand's capital city, Wellington. The university is close to the country's archives, the national collection libraries, and a wealth of research institutions. Victoria is a comprehensive university with a strong research focus. The University was established in 1899, making it among the oldest universities in New Zealand. The University enrolls over 21,000 students each year including close to 3,000 international students from around 80 countries. Departments of note include: Biomedical science, Earth sciences, Film and Theater, History, Music, Political Science and International Relations, and Psychology.

Program Features

Wellington is known as a culturally vibrant city in New Zealand with a regional population of close to 500,000. It is situated at the southern tip of New Zealand's North Island, between a beautiful harbor and rolling green hills. Wellington is a compact, dynamic city with all the trappings of a thriving metropolis.

Students live in shared flats or in a residential community.
