The Universite Montpellier is a supported enrollment program sponsored by University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and is offered during the spring semester only to students with at least 5 semesters of French. Courses are available in the humanities, social sciences and hard sciences. Students live with a French homestay family.
All students on the UNC in Montpellier program will take three core courses taught at Accent Français, a local French language Institute and also directly enroll at the University of Montpellier - UPV for at least two normal university courses with local French students.
Semester program students are housed in French homes where they have breakfast and dinner every day, and share the life of a French family.
In addition, the UNC in Montpellier Program offers several excursions and several social or cultural activities.
