Based at Ashesi University in the Capital of Accra,the program is directed at students who want to study the political and economic challenges facing sub-Saharan Africa and developing nations, and have a particular interest in development economics.

Students take a Twi language class and enroll directly at the University where they take four classes alongside of their Ghanian and International counterparts. There are limited courses for students interested in the Humanities.

Students live in a local apartments with other program or Ashesi students, or in a homestay.
