Based in cosmopolitan Cape Town at the University of Cape Town on the slopes of Table Mountain, this program is appropriate for students from all academic disciplines who have an interest in learning about contemporary South African life and society and the forces that have created it. Student take regular classes alongside their South African counterparts in all UCT faculties except Health Sciences. You may undertake an independent study with faculty permission. Students live in shared houses with other program students. There are many opportunities to get involved with local communities by volunteering.
