Arts and Culture in Ghana
A field study program designed for students to explore the role of the Arts in Ghanain society and culture. Ghana is well known for its fusion of the traditional and contemporary in many aspects of daily life. The arts, which are central to Ghanaian culture, are no exception. Students have opportunities to work directly with potters, goldsmiths, beadmakers, bronze casters, drummers, and other artisans and performing artists
