New Global Scholars Programs Announced for Spring/Summer 2020

The Center for Undergraduate Engagement is excited to launch three Global Scholars Programs (GSP) coming Spring/Summer 2020. These unique programs offer international research opportunities through an on-campus course in the Spring semester and guided research performed over the summer.

In Tunis and Morocco: Islam and the Modern World students will extend the ideas discussed in the Core Curriculum by reading texts from North African and Muslim thinkers, and by completing an independent research project in the field.

In Sub-Saharan Africa: Sustainable Development and Climate Change students will examine the climate change challenges facing Sub-Saharan Africa, and explore how sustainable development policies can result in stronger climate change adaptation in Rwanda.

In Europe: Global Behavioral Science students will connect with behavioral science researchers from all over the world at a conference in Paris and will get hands-on experience designing and conducting a unique replication study at the University of Cambridge.

We will be hosting information sessions about these programs in the upcoming months. Visit the program websites to learn more about the application process, program funding and more!
